6 weeks Winston, from the earliest age possible, has demonstrated the most remarkable personality one could expect in a Rottweiler puppy. He is friendly, fearless, and outgoing, and is completely non-aggressive to any dog or cat he meets. He is also extremely laid back.from an early age preferring to take a seat on the couch to watch TV with family to bouncing around the house like other puppies. He will be a true ambassador for the breed 3 years Winston grew up into a tall puppy very fast.before most of his body knew what was happening. At 10 months of age, Winston was already 26 1/2" at the withers, and looked very thin, as he lacked muscle size and thickness to his body. At one year, he weighed in at approximately 100 pounds, but still looked too thin. Actually, he looked somewhat like a "bobblehead" doll, as his head was very large, and beautifully structured, at that age. This gives us great comfort at the time, as we knew his body would eventually grow into his head. Winston also has very significant bone. At 3 years of age, the rest of his body caught up, particularly the muscles in his rear end and chest. 10 Months From the age of eight weeks, Winston demonstrated exactly what we are looking for in a male Rottweiler. His pictures at 6 weeks of age nearly took our breath away. Winston had a very short back, with a perfectly straight top line and great tail set. This was coupled with a significant, correct amount of rear angulation and front shoulder layback. From the time he was a tiny puppy, he has moved wonderfully, his top line not bouncing an inch. He demonstrates beautiful head type and lovely markings. He also has very dark, almond shaped eyes. 6 Months Winston demonstrates the temperament, head type, top line, and overall body structure and movement that we hoped for out of this breeding. Winston is owned by Darkstone Kennel, but lives with his "Mom and Dad" (Brian and Rita Graham of St. Albert, Alberta) who provide him with a wonderful home. 6 Months 10 Months Click on Photo to Enlarge 10 months
