We have awesome news! Scarlett has a wonderful new home with Corey and Jean! She is enjoying long walks along the river every day and has learned how to carry a backpack to the Farmers Market so she can help carry things home. Scarlett has won over everyone in the 'building' and is enjoying every new challenge that comes her way including her attempts to catch a nap on the Italian leather couch. (see attached picture) She is sharing her new home with two cats Poopsie and Fritz. Thank You Corey and Jean for giving Scarlett such a wonderful new Start!

We are over-the-moon excited! Our Scarlett took Best of Opposite at the CCAA Regional held Saturday morning, the same weekend as the CCAA National! We could not be prouder of our first home grown Regional Winner!!!!! An Enormous THANK YOU to Judge Nancy Liebes and our Amazing Handler, Randy McAteer for helping us achieve this wonderful award.

Scarlett attended her first AKC show held by the Chesapeake Kennel Club of Maryland. She was an absolute ambassador for the breed both in the ring and outside of it, along with her 'sister' Lucy. Scarlett wowed the judge and took Best of Breed with her mom, Heather! Excellent Job, Scarlett!!

Scarlett achieved her ICCF Championship at the Rarities Lums Pond Classic with a Winners Bitch/Best of Opposite win in the first show and in the second show she was awarded Best Of Winners! Scarlett is Darkstone's first produced ICCF and Rarities Champion! Huge THANK YOU to Heather and John at Epic Cane Corso for getting Scarlett out there. We look forward to Scarlett's future with you.

Darkstone's Femme Fatale takes Winners Bitch in the second show at the Rarities Year End Super Show. What an exceptional win for a 7 month old in view of the quality of bitches and the number of bitches shown this weekend! Way to go Scarlett and Heather!

Darkstone's Femme Fatale showed for the first time with her new 'mom', Heather, at the Rarities Virginia Classic II. Showing like a little pro she took Winner's Bitch and Best of Opposite in all four of the shows she was entered in and one Best of Winners. She was also Awarded Best Jr. Puppy in Breed three times and took one Best Jr. Puppy in Show! Awesome job, Baby Scarlett!
| We traveled to Denver in July 2007 to attend the Rarities Rocky Mountain Classic. Scarlett's very first show weekend was an absolute success.....from the 3-6 month class she was awarded 4 Best Jr. Puppy ribbons, 3 Best Jr. Puppy in Group and 1 Best Jr. Puppy In SHOW!!!!! Scarlett was shown by both Randy McAteer and Sweetie Kay. Thank you guys for giving her such a great first show experience! Needless to say, Scarlett was EXHAUSTED by the end of the day and as all 'babies' do, she 'crashed', forgoing supper for sleep, till the next morning. :) |
