Samba was born on
August 26, 2001. Samba is a champion in multiple organizations, including the ICCF/CCAA, IABCA, Rarities, and the MBA. We first saw Samba at the 2002 National Specialty when, as a 9 month old puppy, she took a 5 point major Best of Opposite Sex (BOS) win. At that show, she was also declared “Winners Bitch” and “Best of Winners” on the day of the National Specialty show. This was a huge win for such a young dog, amongst very heavy competition. Samba&146;s win certainly got our attention…as well as the attention of many other breeders and owners. During Samba&146;s show career, she was always considered one of the top females on the continent.
We were very fortunate to acquire Samba from Anthony Carfagna at the same time as we acquired Caesar. What Samba represented to us at that time was perhaps one of the finest examples of an outcross between imported and American-bred lines, which at that point in time in the Cane Corso&146;s history on this continent, was very desirable. Her Sire is the very well known, and very breed influential Dutch import Ch. Bioynics Noe di Liano, while Samba&146; mother is Ch. Bel Monte Samba. Samba possesses a truly beautiful head type, as well as wonderful overall conformation. Despite now being in her senior years, her conditioning, energy levels, and attitude are still those of a “puppy.”
