Luke finished his Canadian Championship in style this weekend with a Group 3 from the classes!!!!!! We attended the Calgary Kennel and Obedience Club shows held in Calgary, Alberta where Luke took Best of Breed twice, finishing off the second win with the group placement.

We got wonderful news today! Our own 'little' Peanut, formally known as 'In A Nutshell', took the Best Veteran award at the Rottweiler Club of Canada Regional held in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan! 10 years old and lookin' great! Way to go Peanut!!!!!!
June 2007
Randy McAteer (handler
extrordinare) took Gizmo to a couple of shows in Canada and speedily
obtained his Canadian Championship! What a TEAM! Gizmo is now back in
Rankin Inlet with his 'daddy' Arnie. Hopefully we will get the opportunity
to selectively show Gizmo in the future. Thank you to all the judges that
recognized our beautiful boy!
May 2007
We traveled to Chilliwack, BC to attend the Rottweiler National
Specialty. There were well over 100 dogs in attendance for the Specialty.
Luke and his sister Aura, did very well, placing in the Top Three of their
Class at all five shows, including the Specialty! Luke did particularly
well in the Puppy Sweeps, taking Best of Opposite in Sweeps! HUGE thank you
to Jeanette Wilson for showing Luke so wonderfully and of course to our
judge, Cynthia Rooney for recognizing our future star!
Spring 2007
Aura came back up to Canada in the Spring 2007 with "Grammy Sweetie" to been shown and gain points toward her Canadian championship. We were of course more than thrilled to have her not only achieve points but to go home again with a Canadian Championship!!! Thank you to her 'Mom", Fran for letting her come to Canada and of course, to Randy McAteer for showing her in Canada. It was so nice to have her back for a visit!
2006/2007:
Gizmo spent the winter of 06/07 in sunny Florida with Randy McAteer and Sweetie Kay. He needed some show training and Randy was just the person to do it. On January 13, Gizmo entered the show ring for the first time at the Inverness Florida Kennel Club show and took his first Five Point Major with a Best of Winners under Judge Pete Dawkins. Turns out this was a sign of things to come as after only 11 Shows, including a GROUP 2 from the classes, Gizmo finished his American Championship!
HUGE Thank you to Randy and Sweetie for taking such great care of Gizmo.
